TAS
CALL CENTRE
On July 16th 1999 the Company
acquired a majority ownership in a call center company called
TAS Ltd. In
March 2000 the company increased its ownership to 80%. TAS,
formally known
as Telephone Answering Solutions Ltd., was initially incorporated in 1993.
The main revenue source of the company was derived from customized
secretarial services, which tend to focus on individual business users who
use the service as an intelligent answering service. Since acquiring
control, TAS
has been redirected to focus on the small to medium enterprise
market. The company joined with ECS is now engaged taking advantage of the
ECS corporate contacts in the Hong Kong telecom community and focusing on
larger telecom related customers.
